The last 7 months have been a totally different experience for our community at Kunnumbetta. Though locked down from the world outside, it was indeed a time to unlock our hidden talents from within. This was certainly a time to build ourselves as a team. We started to focus all our attention to the farm around us, especially with the vegetable garden and the pepper cultivation. The trouble we faced the most was with the monkeys that dropped in to get a bite of the produce of our toils. We had no choice but to build high boundaries with nets and take turns to keep watch over the lands. We were very fortunate to go to Edoor on a common venture to plough the field in preparation for the plantations there. It was definitely a memorable day.
