It is the Gospel friendship which gives life to the Apostolic Community (Cost. 34). On 2nd September 2024 all the Rectors of the Liguori
Province gathered together for a special meeting at Liguori Bhavan, Mattoor to imbibe the gospel friendship to be renewed for community life. This was the second gathering of the Rectors since the beginning of this quadrennium. Although the meeting was just for a day, it was something special and fruitful as well. In the 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., there were two sessions on leadership and community life conducted by Rev. Fr. Francis Chittilappilly CST, the Rector of Little Flower Seminary, Aluva. Later in the afternoon at 03:00 p.m., the Provincial Superior, Rev. Fr. Poly Kannampuzha addressed the gathering and spoke about different activities in the Province
and sought suggestions from the Rectors for the effective running of the Province. There was also sharing by all the Rectors about their respective communities. Discussions about our commitment and apostolic life were helpful to rejuvenate ourselves. The meeting ended with evening prayer, followed by an ‘open air dinner’ prepared by the Mattoor community. It was indeed a time of true sharing and friendship.
