when brothers live together in unity”
From 27th to 30th May were the days when these words became very meaningful
to us as we came together for the annual formatees gathering. First of all, we would
like to thank our Provincial Rev. Fr. Poly Kannampuzha and the team members
for providing the opportunity for our brothers to gather together this year. The
Gathering was officially inaugurated by our Provincial by lighting the lamp and Fr.
Shijo Mapilly welcomed everyone. Many other fathers also were present. On 28th
four of our priests, of whom three celebrate silver Jubilee of Religious Profession
and one Silver Jubilee of Ordination this year, were honored. On 29th, we had
another joyful moment as we honoured our newly ordained priests. Their parents
were also invited. On 30th six of our brothers were conferred minor orders by
Bishop Mar Sebastian Vaniyapurakkal.
Classes, games and other entertainments were arranged for the brothers every
day. These four days were days of brotherhood, fellowship and sharing. We thank
God for making this gathering possible and pray for God’s blessings on all those
who have worked hard for this.
