We, the Liguori Province members, are indeed blessed and proud to commemorate the first anniversary of the inauguration of the
Alphonsian Palliative Care on October 6th, 2024. Congratulations dear Fr. Jissoy Pendanam, the Director of Social Ministry, Fr. Benny
Odackal, Fr. Bijo Vallikkattu and other supporting staff of this unit. Your tireless efforts to serve the marginalized, comfort the afflicted,
and bring hope to the suffering are a testament to your compassion and commitment to the values of the Gospel.
The social ministry has made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals and families in Kadanadu Panchayath, providing them with emotional, spiritual, and physical support in times of need. We are getting ready with the new property at Anthinad and once it is ready the social work of the Province will surely be able to extend the ministry. We are too proud that we begin our social ministry at Karavaloor community as well. It is yet again another milestone in this regard. Thank you dear confreres at Karavaloor for taking up such a brave step. Let us have an idea about the Alphonsian Palliative Care Services. The following is a report of the Palliative care done by Fr.
